The Joy and Fulfilment Service Brings

Service is using your time, skills, resources, or attention to make life better for someone else. It may be encouraging a friend, helping a neighbour, sharing a meal, or offering your professional skills to someone who needs support.

One quiet secret to a happy marriage is learning to serve one another in love. This does not mean one partner carries all the weight; it means both people choose kindness, patience, support, and consideration each day. When a husband and wife look for ways to ease each other’s burdens, through a listening ear, help at home, encouragement, forgiveness, or thoughtful gestures, love becomes practical. A marriage grows stronger when both partners ask not only, “What do I want?” but also, “How can I care for you today?”

Yahusha also gave a powerful example when He washed His disciples’ feet, saying, “I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you” (John 13:14–15). We do not need wealth or a large platform to serve; a listening ear, a kind word, practical help, or a shared skill or meal can make a difference.
